Oral antibiotics are used to fight an infection after it has happened -- not for prevention. The best prevention is for both partners to shower before and after sex, and to use clean bedding. Not to be gross or anything (and this might be a little TMI), but do not engage in anal sex before vaginal sex -- this is almost guaranteed to give you a UTI.
Many antibiotics are known to be dangerous to your fetus. Some are very safe. Your physician knows about the that very well. Otherwise also you are requested to take antibiotics on the prescription of the qualified doctor only.
your body knows when something is wrong so it trys to fight it before it spreads in the wrong places your body knows when it knows.. DONT QUESTION THE BODY MAN!
A small amount of clear vaginal discharge is normal. However if the discharge is noticeably more it can be a sign of infection such as vaginitis if pain is accompanying. Flank pain is usually associated with kidney stone and/or a urinary tract infection. Your gynecologist who knows your history will be better able to diagnosis this problem.
it sounds like it can go away naturally in a few days if you take care of yourself. if it is serious, you should go to the doctor and get some antibiotics though. my gf gets this chronically (a few times a year, in the winter for some reason). i personally think it is also the result of sex. nevertheless, i feel like it is ridiculous to pay $150 for a doctors appt for her to get the antibiotics. she knows instantly when she has the problem, why do we need a doctor to diagnose it? in any case, drink as many fluids as you can. cranberry juice stops the bacteria from attaching to the walls. peeing gets rid of the bacteria so pee as frequently as possible. fruits, vegetables and yogurt help. stay away from pure sugar because the bacteria thrive on it. homeopathy and vitamins should help. ibuprofen/advil will stop inflammation. various urinary pain medications exist OTC. if you want to try to beat cystitis without antibiotics, i suggest taking those (although they will not "kill" the bacteria like antibiotics) and drinking tons of water. don't have sex for a week. if you don't feel 'cured' in that week, see a doctor. if you feel better, continue with the natural treatment and hopefully you wont have another cystitis attack. alcohol will probably make symptoms worse. additionally, antibiotics may rarely be ineffective. antibiotics may also kill all the "good" bacteria in the problem area, leaving you prone to more infections. eat probiotic foods in that case. good luck
It depends why you are taking them. Presumably your doctor knows you are pregnant and it may be that the antibiotics help you maintain your pregnancy. ASk the doctor.
the immune knows the body well
To cure the Bubonic Plague, you must take antibiotics from a doctor that actually knows how to get rid of it.
Antibiotics, if same kinds are used/taken in excess (more that twice a year) your bodies immune system will reconize the foreign enemy and essentially get rid of the medication before it has the chance to make you feel better. However, if you feel as if you antibiotics are not working there may be a few different explinations: -Antibiotics will not cure viral infections such as the commoncold, the flu, yeast, and fungal infections, your doctor may have prescribed them anyhow as a precaution if you presented symptoms of a bacterial infection, and acess to STAT lab results was unavalible. If you feel you may have a viral infection and were prescribed call your doctor, ask for you test results and if they are negative for bacteria request that you discontinue the antibiotic so you don't build up antibodies to the medicine that will lessen the antibiotics effect if you ever have to take it in the future. -Certain antibiotics are for certain bacteria's not all of them work for everything, again if you feel they are not working contact your doctor and request your offical diagnosis. The doctor knows what the best antibiotics are for you, however like I said it is possible you labs results gave a more specific issue ....good luck and to answer your question again NO, if you are referring to the body, taking the same antibiotic over and over again will cause you body to build tolerance and develop antibodies rendering that particular medication usless for you.
It is only safe if at least one of the prescribing doctors knows what the other has prescribed also. Some antibiotics must never be taken together, and others can be taken together safely. To be safe, ask at least one of the doctors about it. If that is not possible, at least discuss it with the pharmacist who fills the prescriptions.
Yes for a few weeks. Sometimes there is no cramping and fetus coming out. It will show by a infection weeks later. Many miscarriages also occur before she knows she is pregnant and she thinks she just gets her period.
Forever. It is in the hair, skin, and who knows what else. When our immune systems get weak, or we somehow get it into our bloodstreams, it becomes a staph infection.
