Martin Luther led the reformation which began in Germany. It was formed as a reaction to the percieved corruption of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, especially the Papal policy of the sale of indulgences (the ability for a person to pay for forgiveness and exemptions from commited mortal and corporeal sins)
Arguably the first "primary leader", in the first generation of reformers was Martin Luther, as he got the ball rolling with the 95 theses ( a list of complaints against the catholic church )
However, his reach was limited as he preached a very nationalist message which didn't reach far out of Germany.
It was the second generation reformer Calvin who really carried on the protestant faith in the form of Calvinism. This began in Geneva and spread as far as Scotland!
Martin Luther was the leader of the Protestant Reformation.

The Reformation is considered to have been started when Luther nailed the 95 Thesis against indulgences to the door of the castle church at Wittenberg in 1517. Luther is regarded as the leader of the Reformation movement, although he didn't actually intend to start a movement as such. The Lutheran Church was named after him, although he did not want it to be.

Catholic Reformation or Counter Reformation
The reformation movement was fueled by an attempt to reform the Catholic Church. There were a lot of false doctrines and malpractices going on in the church.

The Reformation did not lead to the growth of feudalism; in fact, it occurred during the decline of the feudal system. The Reformation was a religious movement in the 16th century that challenged the authority of the Catholic Church and led to significant social and political changes in Europe, but it did not directly impact the feudal system.
