Tattoos are all about personal opinons of the person getting it, it should mean something to you. As long as you like your tattoos and have a good enough reason for getting them then it shouldn't matter if others think its 'weird'.

How many people get a tattoo each day?
This question is impossible to answer but I can shed some light on the situation. I live in a city where there is approximately 20 tattoo parlours and artists. The place I got my tattoos at averages about 25 people a day, but that is considering size and how long the tattoo takes, some can be up to 10 hours or more, also considering there is about 4 artists in the one building. So doing the math 25 people 20 shops that's approximately 500 people a day, getting new art done or having touch ups and finishing something. And that is just in my city, also considering the fact that people do home tattoos with out being licenced. A lot of people do that, my sister in fact is one. Now I have 2 tattoos and am planning on getting 3 more, and my boyfriend has 12. So if you are planning on getting one, make sure you understand how addicting they can be.
Do tattoos stay on the bone after decomposition?
No. Tattoos are not inkied into bone, that would be horribly painful and dangerous. Theye are in you skin, not bone. The reason long-dead corpses have been found with tattoos, is because those corpses were mummified, meaning they didn't go through true decomposition and their skin remains, allowing us to see their tattoos.

Yes you can. As long as your tattoos do not show in you Class "A" (Service Coat) uniform you can wear your tattoos. This rule applies for everyone but officer with tattoos are discouraged.
Why would people pay hundreds of dollars for tattoos?
People would and will pay hundreds of dollars for tattoos because it is viewed as an art form to many and just as hundreds of dollars would be paid for paintings, some view tattoos as paintings on the body. When getting a tattoo you are paying an artist to work on your skin as the canvas and depending on size and detail, just as in regular artwork, causes the cost. some get tattoo's for fun or because they look "cool" and personally I feel that as long as you get what you wanted and paid for, price should not be an issue
