Robby Dalton (Dalton knives) Makes High Quality American Automatic Knives. He made Brass knuckles called(I think) The persuader or interrorgater, that where Brass knuckles with a little Hook blade that came out the side at the press of a Button. Extremely Deadly weapon. A trench knife is a specialized knife made specifically for the close quarter combat on World War 1. Most of the fighting took place in narrow trenches or on "no mans land" a trench knife, which consisted of a brass knuckle with a long blade permanently affixed to it was a handy weapon to have. The trench knife doubles as a brass knuckle and a knife; with the knife securly attached to the user's hand, the enemy could not easily take the knife from the user. In trench warfare where firing a gun while in the trench could accidentally harm a fellow soldier who happens to be behind an enemy, a knife or bayonet was a safer means to eliminate an enemy.

To determine the exact value of your Kissing Crane Knife -964, it would be best to reach out to a knife appraiser or a reputable knife dealer who specializes in collecting and selling vintage knives. yes, brass knuckle trench knife made by L&FC (I think) in the US. Knuckle knife dated 1918. Although knuckle portion was removable, it generally was not taken apart. It was carried in a scabbard made for the knife. It is a collectable item...............
There was a trench knife issued to US Army troops that was a knife that had a "Brass Knuckles" handle. Brass Knuckles is a brass "ring" that you slip over your hand, each finger going into a loop. This is used for hand-to-hand fighting. The knife had this same construction as part of the handle/grip. I'm not sure if this was an official Army issue. The Army preferred the soldier carry a bayonet that would fit onto the rifle. This brass knuckle trench knife couldnot do this.
yes, 1918 LF&C mfg. trench knife. the handle can be removed but not recommended.
it is legal to carry a knife there but not switchblade or butterfly.
Illegally.
No, Ellie's knife is not a butterfly knife. It is a switchblade.
No. They are illegal to possess. A butterfly knife is considered a switchblade under Texas law. A switchblade is a prohibited weapon.

I think a butterfly knife is stronger and more durable
A switchblade the blade swings out the side and a stiletto the blade pops out of the top

All these words are modifiers of the word knife. While dagger and switchblade are stand alone words for knife, all these are designations of a cutting knife.
