Motorcraft. Note: If you are planning on changing the plugs in a newer Triton 5.4, you will need a lisle plug extraction tool in case a plug breaks in the cylinder. Buy the tool before you start, you can sell it on ebay for about what it cost you.
If a dealer changes the plugs for you, they can charge upwards of $300 per cylinder they "accidentally" break the plug off in on top of the normal charge for a tune up. The tool is less than $100 and works exactly as advertised. The process for changing these plugs is very slow, you'll need to spray PB blaster on the plug and let it sit a while before you try to remove it. Start to finish in my garage this took me about 10 hours, with only two broken plugs. The slower you go, the less the chance of a broken plug, but the broken plugs. Removing the computer and harness makes accessing the rear pass side 2 cylinders much easier.
Make sure you are using Ford OEM (Motorcraft is not always OEM) Spark Plugs that are designed for you explorer.
I would recommend the OEM spark plugs, AC/Delco. Excellent plugs.
the vibe uses ac spark plugs and they are rebranded ngk
As for NGK or Denso OEM spark plugs.
motorcraft and is oem
I suggest you install OEM AC/Delco plugs.
I'd recommend using the OEM plugs. Which would be champion double platinums.

6 if you have a 6 cylinder. 8 if you have an 8 cylinder. OEM, NGK V-Power Spark Plugs are a good choice.
This is a Honda only code which means you have a random cylinder misfire. If you have not replaced the Spark Plugs & Wires, do so now. Use OEM spark plugs.
