"Henricus Colledge (1619)", registered in the US Patent Office, is owned by Steven C. Smith, who, in 1992, while living in Williamsburg Va and working part-time as a Historical Interpreter on 1607 Jamestown Island, revived "America's 1st College" in name and educational spirit for "American Heritage Research and Continuing Education". Smith also serves on the Advisory Board for the 1611 Citie of Henricus, which is being rebuilt on the James River at Dutch Gap, just below Richmond Va. Dwelling in SC since 2005, Smith is now traveling in the Colledge's motor home and speaking to churches, civic clubs, home school groups, legislators, etc., about the "1606 First Virginia Charter as the Birth Certificate of American Civilization". This 1606 Va Charter authorized the English settlements of 1607 Jamestown, 1611 Citie of Henricus, and 1620 Plimouth, all three at the same time, in the same document, and for the same exact one purpose of "propagating of Christian religion". Smith traces the Lineage of American Liberty from the 1215 Magna Carta through the 1606 Va Charter on to the 1776-era War to defend the system of Liberty designed in the 1606 Va Charter. Significantly, the 1606 Va Charter has been recognized as the "Birth Certificate of America" by the Virginia Legislature (in 2006) and the SC House of Representatives (in 2008). Smith may be contacted for speaking engagements through the Henricus Colledge (1619) web site, http://www.firstcolledge.us .
