Franklin D. Roosevelt
Franklin Delanor Roosevelt. First Inaugural address.
To quote one of the world's greatest leaders, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself".
They do not have any fear in everything and therefore they have nothing to fear but fear itself.
As a lifelong anxiety sufferer I certainly do believe in this quote. It is the truth - fear can ruin your life. "Fear is a noose that binds until it strangles." Jean Toomer
When we allow ourselves to be consumed with fear we lose sight of the good things in life, the things that are worth living for. So basically, the main fear to have is letting those things we fear take control of our thoughts and actions.
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." - Franklin D. Roosevelt "Fear is only as deep as the mind allows." - Japanese Proverb "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." - Nelson Mandela "Fear is temporary, regret is forever." - Unknown
We have nothing to fear
"The only thing we have to fear....is fear itself." was said in Roosevelt's inagural speech. It was meant to give hope to Americans in the time of the great depression. If we fear fear, we understand fear is something that can potentially stop us from achieving goals.
He said the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
"The only thing to fear is fear itself" Franklin D. Roosvelt
The quote "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" by Franklin D. Roosevelt has endured because it resonates with people's emotions and fears. It emphasizes the idea that fear can be a powerful force that can hold us back and inhibit progress. It has also been associated with overcoming challenges and adversity in times of uncertainty or crisis.
