An eating disorder is a psychological disorder in which the person has disturbed or abnormal eating habits. Anorexia and bulimia are eating disorders.
The somnambulism is a disorder no matter how old is a person which suffers from it.
Bulimia is the eating disorder.
Symptoms of compulsive overeating disorder include frequent episodes of uncontrolled eating where the person feels out of control. Compulsive overeaters will eat even past the point when they are comfortably full. Much of their thought is about food and they may fantasize about eating alone. Bingeing is usually followed by guilt and depressed thoughts.
Every person with an eating disorder has an unhealthy relationship with food.
It depends on what you mean by "support". Most parents would not support, as in encourage, an eating disorder in their home (probably by a child / daughter), as it is dangerous, destrictive, costly, and potentially deadly. They may, however, be supportive. This means not forcing the person with the eating disorder to eat, allowing them to live, but encouraging them to do so healthily.
