The engineers who designed the evaporator dripper were complete idiots.... around the dripper it is sealed with a foam material that gives way with time and heat. Additionally debris block water from exiting causing it to back up around the dripper through the firewall... You have to have someone seal the hole.... Get a professional that doesnt need to take apart ur whole dash to seal it. Saves a lot of time and money....

People make it like that so the ink doesn't flood out of it when someone starts to write with it. They do that by putting the ink in a small tube with a dripper and then they put a round inky ball at the end of the small dripper. Then they write with it to make sure it works. I hoped I helped you I know this because I researched it along time ago and now when I buy ink I can make my own pens. It is fun but really messy and it takes a lot of time. Your welcome and I hope that I helped you a lot.
