Mary Queen of Scotts was( of course) a queen of Scotland and lived from the 14th of December 1542 -- 24th of July 1567. She spent most of her younger life with her to be wed husband and family. After the death of her 1st husband, she returned to a ravaged country in the midst of a civil war. After the unproven death of her second husband, she was found to be pregnant, so she married James Hepburn. He was an influential noble of the time and she thought it would appease the people. Soon though, Hepburn was murdered by jealous noble and Mary's son was soon born. At her son's birth, James IV after her father James V, the Noble's took him from Mary and she fled for her life. She fled to her cousin Elizabeth, the queen of England at the time. Instead of welcoming Mary, Elizabeth locked her away in a Castle for 16 years. At the end of the 16 years Mary was executed by beheadment. James IV later became the king of both Scotland and England becoming James IV and I of England and Scotland. He is also the one whom wrote the famed King James Version of The Bible.
