Historians will argue about that.
AnswerGeorge W. Bush is probably the worst president. He led this country into a false war. His economic policies almost sent this country into the second depression.Yes, he was the 14th president, and I am not surprised you don't know him. Other than in his native New Hampshire, he is not a very famous president. In fact, some polls rank him as one of the least effective, because he was not able to address the issue of slavery; many people believe he even made the problem worse. But yes, there really was a President Franklin Pierce. He served from 1853-1857.
George W Bush
Pierce was one of the weaker US presidents. He made a serious political miscalculation when he wholeheartedly supported the Kansas-Nebraska Act which turned out to be a nightmare. There was also an international embarrassment when his plans to annex Cuba leaked out. His only child to live to adulthood was killed in a tragic accident just before he took office. This event caused a mental breakdown in his wife and Pierce seemingly became a heavy drinker which probably made things worse for him.
The country's economic problems had grown worse and people thought Hoover wasn't doing enough.
Because he was a socialist.
George Bush was president of the USA prior to Barrack Obama.he attemted to kill Osama bin Laden 9 times but failed. brought loss to the american economy.made thee Iraq War bad to worse.
From 2000-2008 Dick Cheney served as a bad vice president to an even worse president. Joe Biden will be our vice president ( a great one I may add) from 2008-2012 and hopefully from 2008-2016. And yes I am a Democrat and I sure am proud of it! :)

Barack too me isnt the worst president. But you may think different
Franklin roosevelt john Kennedy bill Clinton worse Nixon hoover George w. bush
Pierce had many personal problems while he was President besides the difficulties facing the nation over slavery. His last child, a son, was killed in a freak train accident in January before he took office. His wife, who had decided when he has a senator years before that she did not want to live in Washington, could not cope with her grief. She was never a strong person either physically or in mental balance so she pretty much shut herself up in the White House. Pierce had a long standing drinking problem and the pressures of his job seemed to make it worse. As for his job. He had not been active in Washington and he found it hard to get any support from Congress, even from his own party. The party bosses who nominated him and got him elected did not expect or want him to be a leader.
I would say so; but a lot of it is just opinion. A republican would likely say that President Obama was worse. A democrat in contrast would likely say President Bush was worse.
