The President of Germany after Hitler's suicide was Karl Dönitz, who was the highest ranking admiral in the German Navy. Unfortunately for Karl, Germany was almost entirely occupied by the Allies, so all he really controlled was the town that he was in, Flensburg, which is not far from Germany's border with Denmark. He surrendered to the Allies a week after becoming President, ending Germany's part in World War II. Dönitz's tenure as President ended almost three weeks later.
After Dönitz's Presidency, there was no President until 1949 because Germany was occupied by the victorious Allies after the war. By 1949, Germany had been split into East Germany and West Germany, and each had their own separate government. East Germany's first (and last) President was Wilhelm Pieck; Theodor Heuss was West Germany's first President.
It should be noted that Hitler was never technically President of Germany- he was Chancellor starting in January 1933. When President Hindenburg died in August 1934, no new President was elected; Hitler simply created a new position, Führer(German for "leader") which added the powers of the President to those of the Chancellor, which he already had.
He killed himself, then Germany surrendered.
