shaheed bhagt singh
We can't say that only Bhagat Singh was responsible for the Independence of India. It was like a chain reaction, like a domino effect. First of all the integral revolts started all over the country to oppose the British rule because their cruelty was increasing day by day. Few of the incidents like:-
" The use of cow and pig fat oil to lubricate the guns and the guns were so manufactured that when the bullets are fired the empty shells of the bullets are to be pulled by the teeth. Cow being the religious animal of Hindus and pig being the religious animal of the Muslims, they felt that it was like the British were against their religion."
were enough to ignite the fire of rebellion inside the Indians against the East India Company.
Then, the armed strategy of the British to stop these rebellions, annoyed the Indians even more.
The Indians were assured that after the First world war (1914-1918), India would be given under the hands of the Indians. But, after the end of the war, when the British understood that their powers have been decreased and if they release India off their shackles, they won't be a superpower in near future. Hence, after the war, whenever they were asked about the Independence, they tried to avoid answering the questions.
Then, came the time of the Second World War(1939-1945). This time also the they were said in the same way. But this time, the Indians understood the plans of the British, as they had tackled them previously. So, they agreed to help them for the war. But, as the war ended, they started to push the government for Independence (Total Independence).
Hence, after 200 years of shackles and struggle, and because of the support and the unity of the Indians, the British had to retrieve back to England.
So, we can say that every Indian was resposible for the Independence of India.
The stuff below is lies....India got indepedence because of violent actions by martyers such as bhagat singh and bose......gandhi was a british pawn who cooperated......nehru was a retard...anyone can make treaties as a leader (he didn't fight at all!!!!)
Nehru was a leading figure in the Indian independence movement; he was elected by the Congress party to assume office as independent India's first Prime Minister, and later when the Congress won India's first general election in 1952. As one of the founders of the Non-Aligned Movement he was also an important figure in the international politics of the post-war era. He is referred to as Pandit Nehru- Pandit means Scholar; and in India, as Panditji : -ji, is an honorific suffix. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was active in the acts to free India too.
