PHILOTES was the spirit of friendship and affection. Her opposites were the Neikea also known as the Feuds. Philotes was also the spirit of sexual intercourse (the other meaning of philotês in Greek), which is perhaps more likely considering she is described as a daughter of Nyx also known as the Night.
