Davy Crocket, David Bowie, and Sam Houston had all fought in the Alamo to keep Mexico from taking Texas. Santa Anna, a Mexican General had signed over all Mexican rights to America after being captured after the fight for the Alamo. David Bowie and Davy Crocket had both been killed during the war. Davy Crocket died because the Mexican translator had lied about what Davy Crocket had offered.
