Ronald Reagan, who was in office from 1981-1989, served from the age of 69 to 77 years. His second term of office ended approximately two weeks before his 78th birthday. Reagan died in 2004 at the age of 93.
Yes it was once called 'the president's house' but Theodore Roosevelt changed it to the White house.
The first home of the United States President was in New York City, and that is where George Washington lived when he was president. John Adams was the first president to live in the White House (then called the President's House, President's Palace or Presidential Mansion), in Washington DC.
Ronald Reagan was the oldest President ever when he left office. He was just 17 days away from his 78th birthday.
Just the opposite. At the time, he was the oldest president ever elected.
No, the White House came later. The name, "White House" was the idea of President Teddy Roosevelt who wanted a more down-to-earth name than "Executive Mansion". There was an executive mansion in the first capital of the US: Philadelphia, though.
Gerald Ford was the only president to ever lock himself out of the white house :)

George Washington is the only President who did not ever live in the White House. He left office before it was ready to move into.
Theodore Roosevelt was the first President to use "White House" on his official stationery and so perhaps gave it a more official status. I do not think Congress has ever acted to officially give the White House that name.

If you mean did any President ever try to steal while he was in the White House, the answer is no. There has never been any evidence that the president tried to steal. If you mean has anyone ever pilfered anything that belonged to the White House, I am sure that staff members from time to time have carried things off. A particularly likely time would be during transition when a new president is moving in and an old president and his staff are moving out.
Thomas Jefferson
No. NYC when Washington was president and Adams moved into the White House.
Frederick Douglass was invited to the White House by President Abe Lincoln. Did Mr. Douglass ever except Lincoln's invitation and go to the White House.
Our current White House occupant, Mr. Obama, is certainly Black.
Yes. George Washington oversaw the construction of the White House, but did not reside in it, as it was almost completed when John Adams became President.
Just the opposite. At the time, he was the oldest ever president.
