The Iroquois Indians helped the fighters in the British army and the British colonists. The Huron Indian tribe helped the French.

Early in the war, young George Washington was sent to Ohio to quell the disturbance there. It was his first battle. He and his fighters were so outwitted and out-numbered that Washington had to surrender. He returned to Virginia where he lived and vowed he would never go to war again. But he was called upon again, and eventually became General George Washington.

The French and Indian War was a conflict that occurred between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of France in their North American colonies from 1754-1763. A infamously violent and savage affair, both European powers allied with indigenous native tribes. The French allied with the Wabanaki Confederacy, Algonquin, Caughnawaga Mohawk, Lenape, Ojibwa, Ottawa, Shawnee and Wyandot tribes while the English allied with the Iroquois Confederacy.
