The Normans should have won The Battle of Hastings because they had a better army and they were more prepared for war. Also, William the Conqurer had more reasons to become king then the other monarchs. In the end, it was they who won the battle.

∙ 13y agoIf I had been there at the time, I probably would have put my bet on Harold because he had a much better position on the field. But I would not have put much into the bet because Harold had only infantry, and William had archers and cavalry in addition to infantry.
