Number 1. WWII was actually decided by the United States. Only two nations were, in reality (not name only) fighting Germany...that was Britain and Russia (USSR or Soviets). Everyone else in Europe was either neutral or conquered. It was the US that supplied Stuart tanks, Sherman tanks, P39 Airacobras, rifles, trucks, artillery, merchant ships, destroyers, Hellcats/Wildcats/Bombers/escort carriers, ammo, medical supplies, FOOD, tents, clothing, explosives, bridges, portable homes and buildings...etc. to Russia and England. The US built the stuff, transported the stuff, and usually let the British and Russians unload it though (at their own ports). Without the US in the war, Britain would've lost; not Russia however, the USSR was more than holding it's own against Germany...especially with the help of their famous Russian General; General Winter. Number 2. WWII was actually TWO WARS! The Russian's (Soviet's) so-called "Great Patriotic War" against Germany; and America's "Pacific War" against Japan. Britain, was just caught in the middle. Germany surprise attacked Russia (like America, they probably knew it was coming however) in 1941. Japan surprise attacked America (like Russia, they probably suspected it was coming) in 1941.
