3D art is called bas relief and it had been used for centuries before the renaissance. It was used in one form or another in building adornment and decorative arts all over the world and is found in ruins as far afield as Mexico and South America, Greece and Rome, Egypt and Syria, India and Cambodia, and many more places.
Renaissance art are more 3D. and more colorful than the Medieval onesRenaissance art focused more on the glory of humanity, while medieval art was centered around the glory of God. Renaissance art also took more inspiration from Ancient Greece and Rome, while medieval art considered the classical civilizations "pagan." Medieval art is also noticeably more two-dimensional and less life-like than the perfectly-proportioned, realistic art of the Renaissance.
Baroque art has more emotion and is very dramatic. There is a lot of movement and energy, unlike mannerism/Renaissance art which is controlled and idealistic. While both are very decorative, baroque art is much more realistic that mannerism. Another characteristic of baroque art is there is a lot of symmetry and 3D shapes. Extremes of light are used.
because Greek's were the first to come up with 3d art on the statues they made so they gave us a huge step forward in art.
I don't think the Egyptian art is 2d. It seems 2d but its actually more 3d! I know this maybe hard to believe but try looking at the art as if its 3d and it has a vanishing point. Then you may see what I'm talking about, its pretty deep. being under the influence helps to prove this point and I'm trying not to encourage this but I'm being real. I'm wondering now why is there art 3d. Mushrooms or LSD will prove this point. I'm not trying to promote drug use though, check out the movie wonderwall and watch the beginning and they prove my point exactly.
Yes, and in 3D no less.
During the feudal period, art was unrealistic, 2d, and exclusively religious. During the renaissance, art started becoming a lot more realistic, with shadows, realistic lighting, and sometimes even 3d figures.
Well no one artist started 3d art but one of the first few people to do it was Leonardo Da Vince and the idea started during the or rather artist started using the concept of 3d for the first time in Renaissance age
Their art was more real life looking with shading and 3D affects
3d
Well, I only know one thing for now which is art. Artists at the time of the Renaissance found new techniques in art and used new perspectives including the use of 3D and light contrast. The website below shows what I just explained in more detail. good luck! Resource: http://www.chiff.com/a/renaissance-art.htm

I think they are talking about a 3D car model that can be used in the 3D art program called Poser by Smith Micro. Poser allows 3D artists generate art using 3D models.
Before i put this comment...
