This might be due to a clogged fuel filter. They are inexpensive & should be fairly easy to replace.
I think it's 25 miles per hour ( I'll have to check )
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : 4WD LOW is four wheel drive , low range ( on the Control Trac 4x4 system ) It is used off road where all four wheels would have " give " because as far as I know the maximum speed would be around 25 miles per hour ( the last time I used 4WD LOW on my 1995 Ford Explorer was to drive out of a snow filled ditch beside the highway one winter , if I was driving a car I would have had to wait for a tow truck to winch me out )
four wheel drive low ========================================================= I know that on my Ford EXPLORER the automatic transmission shifts into overdrive around ( 50 miles per hour / 80 kilometers per hour )
should only take about an hour
Makes me wonder if this is a common problem on Ford Exploders. My '02 Explorer V-8 with 46,000 miles needs a timing chain too. My mechanic is telling me it is a 6.5 hour job. If parts have dropped into the oil pan, add 3.1 hours.
100 miles per hour
The Ford Galaxy Titanium goes 124 miles per hour.
Ford GT. 212 miles per hour. That is the fastest roadgoing production Ford ever made.
I just changed my blower for about $45.00 and a hour of my time. You will have to loosen the reservoir remove cruise control unit and loosen the air intake to get fan out to change. It was not hard.
the top speed is 142 miles per hour
It will go as slow as zero miles per hour.
I'm not a mechanic / technician , but I remember reading about another fellows Ford Explorer that would not start after it was warmed up ( he had to wait for the engine to cool down ) and it turned out to be his coil pack
