The Focus door sensors are wired to what are basically little black buttons behind the door latch bar. Start the car and open the offending door. Look at the door latch mechanism on the car side, not the door side. You will see a small horizontal metal rod attached to 2 side brackets, much like a mini towel rack. Behind that is a little black button. When the door closes, that button is pushed in and the sensor thinks the door is closed. Clean the button and stick a little square of Duct Tape or similar (Gorliia is good) on the face of the button. This will reduce the clearance between the door latch and the sensor button, and should solve your problem.
