faulty crank angle sensor in most cases
possibly a bad crank sensor
Check the 95 Firebirds crank position sensor first. If the sensor is bad then the injectors won't turn on and there will be no spark.
Check for trouble codes. Possible cam or crank sensor.
You need to find out if you have injector pulase. if you dont have injector pulase and spark check crank sensor
200 Nissan exterra v6 have spark and injector pulse no power to fuel pump
well if there is no spark, the distributor is bad.
First check crank sensor again. A terminal gets bent sometimes during installation. Look at it good with a light. Then, VATS module, under dash, left of steering collumn, velcrowed in.
cam sensor?
if it cranks and does not start. most common on your model bad crank sensor, bad fuel pump or relay or fuse.or bad ignition control module. must check fuel pressure while cranking, check spark and then check for injector pulse signal at injector
The negative side of this coil is that it doesn't have a injector pulse. There also was a problem with the lack of spark.
The crank sensor would definitely cause no spark. As for the no power to the injector it might actually be the ignition controll module(as odd as it may seem). I was just talking to a mechanic freind due to a simalar problem on an `88 Grand AM (no spark and no signal voltage at the injector)and he said that If the ignition module goes that it shuts down fuel delivery too. you out.
