Your Camry might have a loud exhaust in the winter weather because of damaged or weakened exhaust gaskets or manifold gaskets. The cold weather causes these gaskets to shrink which makes the vehicle sound louder.
The most likely cause is an exhaust leak or a cracked exhaust manifold. While it is also possible that there is a problem with the Camry's catalytic converter, check to see if there are any leaks from the exhaust or any problems with the muffler first.
straight pipe and cold air intake will make it loud straight pipe cold air intake and bigger turbo will make it really loud if you point the exhaust face the ground right after the back axle then it will make it louder also
manifold or downpipe gaskets may be leaking gases or worse, cracked manifold
You need to specify type of noise. I would assume you have problems with exhaust. If you do, you will have fix it or replace it.
we hate it cause usually if its loud then it hurts the earth and smells alot. plus women like to talk to guys and if the exhaust is loud we cant be heard.
the exhaust pipes
no
It may be in the main cold water shutoff or if you have a water pressure reducer it may be in the reducer manifold
Maybe the exhaust is broken.
Attach a bigger sports exhaust, simpler enough
While stock diesel systems are very loud they are not the loudest type of exhaust you can get. To get an exhaust that is extremely loud you're going to need to go with the custom or bolt on route.
A loud exhaust ticket in CA can cause between $40 and $80. Sometimes a person can get the problem fixed and have the ticket dropped.
