Check the fuses and relays first. It sounds like a loss of power to the seat motors. If these are good then the switches or motors could be bad.
my 1993 buick park avenue wont start after i changed the front motor support you can jump it from the sodinoid and it will crank whats wrong could it be the security system
The steering colums was changed on my 2000 buick park avenue and it still wont start. do I need to get the security light to go off first
Chances are its the plug just like mine. The plug is on the driver side, by the rear seat where the seat belt meets the pillar up top. Gently remove the panel. Its the white plug connected to the black box. It'll most likely be very burnt on the larger wire.
the driver seat comes down after some time even i raised high
car seat wont move forward. First examine under the seat for stuff that doesn't belong under there that could be jambing up the works. If all is clear, you may have to unbolt the seat, remove the seat from the car then turn the seat up side down to determine the cause.
1.your ingnition could be bad, 2.your key could be bad
you'll need to install a suspension kit or the tires wont have clearance to turn in the wheel well...
Hold your brake down while doing so.
No fuel...
sit in the front seat when its raing, and you wont get wet
solinoid under the seat or seat motor could cost up to 600.00 howevwe could be loose wire or fuse relay Just spray some WD-40 around all the output shafts of all the motors under the seat and at the ends of the drive cables. Work the motors back and forth until it frees up the movement. These little motors are not that strong and when dirt builds up around the drive shafts and cables they can't move the heavy seat, especially with someone sitting in it. If you can't hear the motor trying to move, the fuse could be burned out, or the motor may not be working.
Align the shift indicator orreplace it. Your problem is strictly column mechanical.
