Period was 6 days late and then bled a little bit for a few days but then it went away not even 3 days later it was lighter than usual was it my period or implantation bleeding?

Implantation bleeding is only a few spots of blood, nothing like a period. There's no flow to Implantation bleeding and it just spots of blood which I've had mine was stringy pink blood in discharge. Implantation blood can be brown/pink/red . Days from 1-3 that's how long it can last for 1-3 days its nothing like a period 1 in 3 women get it. It can be stringy or thick. You can get a bit of a belly ache just for the day. Period has a flow a period starts light - heavy-light where as implantation bleeding stays light and periods have cramps it can also have clots as well . What I thought was my period lasted for seven days it was very light and brown in color I have pco but got a normal period last month could this be implantation bleeding?
implantation bleeding usually only last 2 or 3 days, so probably not, but id take a test

You can have implantation bleeding from 3-7 days. Its usually lighter than your period and pink or brown in color. But, keep in mind every woman is different. So women actually confuse implanation bleeding with their period. I've heard of some women have actually had heavy bleeding and they thought it was their period, but i actually was implantation bleeding. I've also had this same experience with 1 of my pregnancies. yes it could be. I had brownish spotting when my period was due, and I was pregnant. But the only way to know for sure is to test.
