Why are Muslims so bad?

Some people hate Islam because they are misinformed and do not know what it really teaches. Some people hate Muslims for the same reasons. Others are prejudiced from stereotypes or from the crimes of terrorists who call themselves Muslims.

However, the truth is that Muslims are human beings, and like most people, most Muslims are good.

Like in any other group, be it religion, race, gender, etc., some are good, and some are bad. You can't generalize.

Ever since 9/11, all we hear on television is that Muslims are terrorists, that they want to kill all Americans/Europeans/non-Muslims. The Propaganda has a huge effect on what people believe about others that they aren't acquainted with. Rarely does American or European TV ever portray Muslim families as peace-loving, kind, etc.

It is not true. Some people are misguided and are biased against Islam and Muslims. I wonder of the question. How can some consider all followers of one religion as terrorists. Was she/he in touch with all Muslims to judge that they are all terrorists?. Then another one says he/she hates the religion itself. Did he/she read about the religion fundamentals, history, contributions to humanity and civilization? Did she/he read about the Islam religion holy book to have this opinion? Did he/she read about the prophet of this religion to be sure of this opinion? I advise those to be kindly not blindly following the biased media and the biased politicians that aim to fulfilling their own political and social agendas in Muslim countries. Remember that:

• not Muslims who made the WW1 and WW2 that resulted in death of millions of innocents
• not Muslims who killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people by bombarding them with atomic bombs
• not Muslims who made the Muslim massacres in Bosnia and in Ghaza
• Muslims controlled India and Spain for around 1000 years and never committed any massacre there against non Muslims and never pushed them to convert to Islam. The clear evidence is that, after 1000 years, when they got out of these two countries both countries are still having their own religion with majority followers.

While most Muslims are peaceful, Muslims are disproportionately responsible for acts of terrorism. It is this confusion between a virulent and violent minority and the non-problematic majority that leads people to the simplistic conclusion that all or most Muslims are bad.

As far as the evidence goes, most Muslims are peaceful. Islamic terrorism is a very small percentage of the Muslim population, just as terrorists in general are a minimal part of the population. Terrorists make up less than 1% of Muslims (it is estimated that there are roughly 300,000 Jihadists in the world out of 1.6 billion Muslims). The reason that this <1% of Muslims are so infamous is that Jihadists are responsible for an inordinate share of casualties from terrorism. In the last ten years, over 85% of terrorist incidents and 85% terrorist-related fatalities were perpetrated by Muslims.
