u see that big black circle in the middle, well whenever those get small, they are small pupils
Lortab will cause contraction of your pupils. (i.e. smaller pupils)
Well when you are inside or in a low lighted area your pupils get bigger, but when you outside when its bright your pupils get smaller.
No. Adderall is a sympathomimetic, and stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system causes the pupils to dilate, not contract.
No nothing is wrong with your cat, her pupils are wide because when any object with eyes looks at a bright light, their eyes get small. But when it's dark, the pupils get big. So know you know why. :)
Put simply, a cat's pupils get big or small for the same reason a human's and other animal's do: they expand so there's a bigger lens making it easier to see in low light and contract so the lens becomes smaller in order to prevent brighter light from dazzling them so their vision is temporarily impaired. In pitch darkness they can't see at all, any more than humans can; we both might as well have our eyes shut. In brilliant light, like humans, cats shut their eyes to prevent damage.
Expirement. close your eyes for a good 10 seconds. Then open them and get close to a mirror when you do this. When you open your eyes, you'll notice that your pupils will get big and then really small(fast).
