Well, if it's a hen, she may be broody. Silkie hens will PROTECT their eggs/young viciously at times. Generally, cochin-type chickens can be tamed fairly easily if handled gently, daily when young, pullet-cockeral age... Joetta Nelms
No, all the chickens are birds.
No, not all chickens are yellow, these Chinese "Silky" Chickens are black skinned. Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silkie
You can keep Silke chicken with other chicken types. Like all chickens, they may not get along.
Miniature silky chickens are a small breed of chickens known for their unique appearance, which includes a distinctive silky plumage that feels more like fur than feathers. They are primarily kept as ornamental birds because of their fluffy appearance and friendly temperament. They are relatively easy to care for but do require grooming to maintain their distinctive feathering.
Silky chickens make fantastic pets (speaking from experience) I had 2 - Surfer, and Frothy. They are adorable! If you want pet chickens get them as babies, they will be tamer when the grow up and they will let you hold them. Also bantam sliky chickens would be good because they are smaller and easier to handle :)
No but there is normal nasty chickens
the evil chicken no longer exists so no matter how many you kill it won't come ^ This is technically a lie - The evil chicken is no longer a random, but it can be found and fought in the Evil Chicken's Lair ^Thanks to the Dominion Tower update, you may now fight it there.
No. Chickens are chickens....they don't scheme or plan on taking over the world. They don't even attack humans maliciously. If a supposedly 'mean' rooster attacks a human, it's because the human aggravated him somehow or got between him and his hens. So it's the human's fault, not knowing how to deal with chickens. Chickens are actually one of the nicest, gentlest kind of bird you can have.
yes they can live in the same pen however if you are going to try to breed them i would suggest not. No silky can not live with other chickens especially with a roster i know this because when i put my silkies in with my Colombians they almost killed each other and then the hens were not as friendly as they were when they were separated they were very tatorial after i put them together till this day they still try to fight through the been so i wouldn't try it on less your standing right there.
Chickens cannot be evil. They do not possess the capacity for human-like emotions such as malice or intent to do harm. Chickens primarily act on instincts for survival and interacting with their environment.
The big house on the corner, sailing ship on silky seas, birds in cages, foxes and chickens, flowers.
Yeah, mine does but since it's so delicate it gets pecked on a lot!:(I will agree with him if your chicken is delicate then you will have a lot of picking on and fighting so try to make all your chickens as delicate as possible.
