Why are the tips of my fingernails turning yellow I don't smoke and i really don't think its a fungal infection help?

If you are a girl, certain red shades of nail polish will stain yellow, even with good nail polish remover. Soak them a bit in hydrogen peroxide to bleach the yellow out, then use a clear base-coat if you don't want to give up that color.Otherwise, see a doctor. Some heavy metal exposure[ NO, not the music ] will show up in fingernails.
