There are many enlisted personnel, we just never meet them because the stories center around the ship's command officers most of the time. Think about it this way, would you want to watch an episode centered around people just following orders during a battle? No, I at least would rather watch the people making all the decisions because I can see the whole story not just a small part of it that trickles down to the enlisted personnel.

Avery Brooks is alive & well [as of April 01st 2018] He retired from acting in either 2006 or 2011 (depending on which site you read), however he did appear as himself in a few Star Trek documentaries since 2011.
Guinan (played by Whoopi Goldberg) is El-Aurian, a humanoid race of "listeners." Few El-Aurians have ever been seen on Star Trek. The first one other than Guinan to appear was the con-man Martus Mazur in the Deep Space Nine episode "Rivals". After that, the only other time we ever saw El-Aurians was in the 23rd century portion of the film Star Trek Generations, where we saw a number of them as refugees fleeing from the Borg's attack on their homeworld.
Star Trek Voyager mainly takes place in the Delta quadrant. The U.S.S Voyager was pulled into the delta quadrant by a being called the care taker, and the series is about them trying to get home.
Assuming its the 25th anniversary trading card these are not rare and so do not command a high value. Single cards are worth between $1.00 - $2.50 depending on a few factors including condition and card number. Aslo if they are signed they will be worth more!! Complete sets are worth around $60 - $90.
yes she was in a few shows.......
How could you not be? I wrote a whole essay on this, and I would totally say yes. Consciously or not, he most likely got at least a few of his ideas from star trek.
There are a few good places to buy Star Trek collectables and deciding the best is down to personal preference. One place with many such items is eBay while they can also found on the official Star Trek store website.
There have to be many. Here's one: Look up a band named "S.P.O.C.K." A few of their songs mentioning Star Trek characters/creatures: Never Trust a Klingon Trouble with Tribbles Mr Spock's Brain Romulan Ale Dr. McCoy Cpt. Kirk to Bridge
It turns off by itself in a few minutes if you don't touch it.
Like in Star Trek, no. The best we've done so far is to teleport information a few meters across a room.
As of today, there is no real teleportation device that can transport physical objects or people over distances instantly. The concept of teleportation exists in science fiction, but in reality, we do not have the technology to achieve this.
Nothing, but there are some things that resemble things in Star Trek. The thing that is important to remember is Star Trek is fiction and the technologies we use are fact. One thing that many people claim was inspired by Star Trek is the cell phone. But that is totally wrong as Bell Labs came up with the idea back in 1947, nineteen years before Star Trek appeared on TV in 1966! But Bell Labs put the project on hold after a few years of work as the vacuum tube technology of the time could not support the requirements of such a system. When the first handheld cell phone was built by Motorola in 1971 it bore no resemblance to anything in Star Trek as it was about the size and weight of a brick and could only run about 1 hour on a battery charge.
Yes and no. The core game ships with 5 or so Federation ships, 2 Klingon Ships, 1 Romulan ship, a few cardassian ships and the rest fall under "Other". However, there are mods available for the game covering almost every sci-fi series, from Stargate to Star Wars to Battlestar Galactica. The amount of Star Trek content and the quality was such that several of the Community's best modders were hired to contribute assets to "Star Trek: Legacy". The modpack I personally recommend if you're a Star Trek fan is the Kobayashimaru 1.0 mod from Bcfiles.com.

a few hundred
Star trek is more successful. star wars may have made more money (I am unsure), but I have seen several scientific shows (i.e. Nova science now) and a bunch of scientists/computer programmers have been inspired by star trek. That's an impression that will last much longer than a few houses of george lucas, or some fanboy's star wars blog. (no offense to star wars. I like some of their games a lot.) Thank you for being the first person I know that admits Star Trek was way more succesful. All a have to say is SW=6 movies, 1 ongoing TV show; ST: 11 movies (and counting) and 6 TV shows. To all Star Wars Lovers: Resistance is futile; you will be assimilated.
