Everyday 16 thousand children die because of hunger related issues. Millions die every year.
Why? It's because of us. They have been colonized for many years and left out after the industrial revolutions. They do not have any viable natural resource (some parts have diamond, platinum etc, but they prosper anyways) therefore nobody seems to care about them but missionaries.
All the whole world does is watching Brangelina adopt bunch of children from them, and clap their hands with joy when they hear about a charity doing something nice.
The garbage generated in USA everyday can feed whole Africa. So next time you order a Super-Size meal, think about it.
I don't really believe in charities either. I have worked with kids over there, the things you see would make most people suicide, after you see how cheap life is. The donations given to them is just like giving them fish everyday to eat without telling them how they found them but that's not a solution.
