You have to rmeember that when whites sought to travel inland to Africa, 7/10ths of them died from illnesses and couldn't cope with the insects and environment of Africa. They weren't immune at all. This caused a great resentment and bitterness back home in the West, and may have contributed to looking for more justification to kill black people, and enslave them. But racism against black people is quite new. In Biblical times, a few thousand years ago, people had a lot more respect to each other and saw skin colour as a mute point.

∙ 13y agoin the time white people did reconise black and didnt really see them as real humans which i know is horrible but at the time they were scared because they had never seen one befor and i hate to think how horrible it must have been for the black people.
