Bookmark and Favorite both means the same in computer but the only difference is Favorites is only in Internet Explorer and Favorites are named as Bookmark in Web Browsers other than Internet Explorer.

"Favorites" on Explorer, provided you have added the preferred websites to the "favorites" list.

In internet explorer you click "Favorites" and then click "Add to Favorites..." it has a star with a plus sign next to it.
To hide Favorites bar in IE, follow below steps: 1. Open Internet Explorer 2. Click the Tools button, point to Toolbars, 3. Click Favorites Bar to clear the check mark.
