What is role of cooling coil behind the refrigerator?

The actual role of the cooling coil behind (or underneath in some cases as well as inside the side walls on some models) is to dissipate the heat collected from INSIDE the refrigerator as a result of the cooling cycle. If you would like more information on the subject, please follow the related links below to "How Stuff Works" The motor typically dissipates heat through a separate heat sink to prevent from excess heat being reintroduced into the refrigerator.

What is the difference between a rocket engine and a rocket motor?

A rocket engine and a rocket motor are both things that make rockets go. The engine uses fuel and something special called an oxidizer to create fire, like in a car. The motor, on the other hand, carries its own special stuff to make fire, so it's like a simpler version. Engines are fancier but motors are simpler.

Why is horsepower used in describing the power output of a motor or engine?

Simply that horses were used before motors and engines. The standard used to measure how efficient a machine was therefore a horse. So a 2 HP (Horse Power) motor could do the work of 2 horses.CommentThe output power of a machine is only measured in horsepower in the US; elsewhere, it's measured in watts.

Can electric car engines blowout?

No, because an electric car does not have an engine - it has a motor. The motor can fail though. If it gets dirty internally, or shorts out, or it is designed to have a cooling system connected but does not, etc. can lead to the motor failing.
