No. In fact, everything I have read points to the opposite. He was a man who liked his wine, his women, his food with "gusto". He was a member of London's Hell Fire club which was not known for its bridge games. He had two estates in Europe with one in London and one in Paris. He lived "large". This is not a man who would live as a vegetarian and was the rock star of his time.
