The main reason for European Imperialism was unmitigated greed. Secondary to the greed was the competition between world powers. It was like a race to see which country could acquire the most land holdings. Britain clearly won the contest, with an empire much more vast than any of the other European powers.

They took too many of they're Natural Resources and gave them illnesses such as small pox, measels and infulenza. Because of that, the population fell dramatically. Over the course of 40 years
