Is Firestar or Leopardstar better?
He is later in the book when Squirrelflight becomes Brambleclaw's mate. They are not related by blood though.Edit by B2stluber on March 27, 2012:Well, the whole "kin" and "related" thing is really confusing, especially if they are the "kin of Firestar's kin, who hold the power of the stars in their paws" (the prophecy). Later in the series you find out that (if you didn't read up to here, sorry? ^_^) Squirrelflight is NOT the mother of Jawpaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw. She and Bramblepaw are not mates, but Leafpool is their birth mother. (She was a medicine cat; so she was forbidden to have a mate or kits, although a few broke the rule.)Therefore, Firestar is NOT related to Tigerstar anyhow.(I'm sorry if I spoiled the whole book for you....)

Sadly, Erin Hunter releases news that Firestar's death scene has already been scripted, rough drafted, and in the book that will come out July of 2012. in CATS OF THE CLANS Rock tells the kits " Ha! Who knows how every one of Firestar's lives will end!" did you get the catch? Rock is saying he knows how Firestar's lives will end but will refuse to tell any cat. Jayfeather and Lionblaze discover that Dovepaw is the third cat in the prochecy. Dovepaw has an incredible power where she can hear, see, scent things that are incredibly far away. There's a new enemy, Beavers. Beavers stop the water from coming to the lake and cats began to die of dehydration. Dovepaw, Lionblaze, and two cats from each clan go out to attack the beavers, and suceed. Firestar dies, so does Leopardstar, and perhaps Blackstar to. Mistystar suceeds Leopardstar, and it's unknown who succeeds Firestar. Beavers continue to be a new enemy.

How come you despise brambleclaw so much?
Some people don't like Brambleclaw because of his relationship to Tigerstar and because he was tempted to kill Firestar. However, Brambleclaw did prove his loyalty when he killed Hawkfrost to save Firestar.
Does firestar die in night whispers?
Probably not unless he has a very serious injury. Firestar still has several lives left so there is a very small chance that Firestar will die.
