The "Texas oil industry" is only one of the many contenders in the numerous conspiracy theories around JFK's assassination. Other groups assumed and named to have been behind this are (among others): the Mafia, the CIA, the Russian KGB, Castro, the anti-Castro movement, the FBI, Israel, and US big business. Or combinations of any of these groups. For the assumed 'second shooter' over 25 names have been mentioned, although without a shred of hard evidence.
The major reason for all these names and theories is that it is almost impossible that Lee Harvey Oswald could have fired three shots within a few seconds with a non-automatic rifle that had a faulty telescopic visor and nevertheless with 3 bullets hit 3 bullseyes on a moving target from a great distance. One of his few statements before he was killed himself, was that he had been set up. Only he did not say by whom.
For each and every group or person suggested to be responsible, clever arguments have been made. But not a single piece of evidence ever has emerged to conclusively connect anyone else to the killing, and that also goes for 'Texas oil industry'.
He did not kill John Kennedy, he killed Robert Kennedy.

Lee Harvey Oswald killed John Fitzgerald Kennedy at Dallas Texas, while JFK was riding in a motorcade with his wife on the left, and the governor of Texas in the front seat with his wife at his side. Oswald killed JFK at 12:30 p.m at the Dealey Plaza and wounded the governor of Texas.
Oswald two bullet.
Lee Harvey Oswald.
Lee Harvey Oswald was the assassin. He was murdered while in police custody and was never brought trial or even questioned extensively. There may have been others involved but it seems clear that Oswald shot at the President.
