What role does Islam play in Pakistan and Bangladesh?

There are a number of changeable factors-educational institutions, the mass media, political parties-which could be used in favour of, or against, the strengthening of Islamic values. Due to the nature of the society and the attitude of the rulers, the changeable factors are now also contributing to the triumph of Islam in Bangladesh.

Is Pakistan is more develop in agriculture than Bangladesh?

you have to look at everything.. In 1971, the Bangladesh declared independence from Pakistan. Previously, Bangladesh was known as East Pakistan and Pakistan was known as West Pakistan. When the two countries parted, Bangladesh gained its independence but it was lagging behind Pakistan and this was because all the economic and political power was concentrated in West Pakistan meaning that it was far easier for Pakistan to develop and therefore they had a head start. Also, Pakistan is a leading example of "growth without development" with low social indicators for its income and growth. But, Bangladesh was still very poor and afflicted with many social problems found in Pakistan. However, Bangladesh has been transforming itself from a symbol of famine to a symbol of hope. Pakistan and Bangladesh have nearly the same population with 145,000,000 in Pakistan and 136,000,000 in Bangladesh. It appears that Bangladesh are constantly struggling with Pakistan getting everything and Bangladesh suffering as a result and this is proven again when Bangladesh was being drained of their tax revenues which the government needed to put policies into place to fund for the long run supply side of growth but it was given to West Pakistan to benefit them instead since they were already a much stronger part of the country and so the government slightly took advantage of Bangladesh and really hindered their development and so they became a "test case for development" meaning that if development could happen in Bangladesh then it could happen in any country and so Bangladesh has continued to have serious development problems, however Bangladesh have seemed to have made relatively better progress than Pakistan on social development and in recent years in growth implying that Bangladesh are developing well even though they have been absorbed of so much, they are still a really strong country which could imply that they are more developed since Bangladesh started at a much lower level of social development and still has lower income but they have achieved more progress on social development and they now have the conditions for accelerating economic progress in the future; if Bangladesh can overcome their government problems then they would be far better than Pakistan and this is made really clear by all the data being of a very little difference. For instance, with growth the purchasing power parity (ppp) adjusted incomes are slightly higher in Pakistan with $1,940, and Bangladesh isn't far behind at all with $1,700. However, although Pakistan have a higher ppp, Bangladesh have a lower number of people in poverty which would suggest that they are more developed since everyone will live at a similar standard and there won't be a huge gap between the rich and the poor giving everyone a similar standard of living. The World Bank estimated that 31% of the population lives below $1 a day in Pakistan, whereas in Bangladesh its only 29% and Bangladesh is 9 million people smaller conveying that although the percentage is 2%, it is a large amount of their population. Because of Pakistan having a more people in poverty, it means that that they have a lower life expectancy than Bangladesh, because although both countries are both 61 years, the life expectancy has been rising much quicker and will therefor overtake. When comparing the adult literacy rate, in both countries it's still a low 41%; however the literacy rate has been growing quicker in Bangladesh suggesting that they will eventually overtake Pakistan since they have greater gender equity. In Pakistan, less than 2% of their counties GDP is allocated to education which could be why they have a lower female literacy rate of 29%, whereas in Bangladesh it's higher at 31%. Also, since Pakistan have a wider inequality gap, their poor performance could also be due to the fact the incentives of the elite to keep the poor from gaining to much education which is segregation since they are putting a strong divide on the rich and the poor implying they are more of a capitalist county and "every man for himself". This is emphasised with Bangladesh having the edge on school enrolments, with 54% to only 37% with Pakistan and in a few years this will transfer to higher literacy rates since Bangladesh today has a female to male primary and secondary enrolment ratio of 1.03 to 1 while Pakistan is just 0.61 suggesting that in the future there should be much greater parity in male to female literacy levels in Bangladesh. Currently, Bangladesh have literacy rates of 53.5% whereas Pakistan have the slightly higher advantage of 54.2%. Although, Pakistan have a slightly higher HDI of 0. 4%, they have a much higher GDP per capita of $1,250. The development levels of both counties are not hugely different, even as Bangladesh must now be given the edge. There is a huge size different of Pakistan and Bangladesh which is the decider to my judgment on who is the most developed since Pakistan is so much bigger. In conclusion, although Pakistan theoretically are far more developed than Bangladesh, I would have to say that Bangladesh have done amazingly well consider the circumstances such as them giving all of their tax revenues to Pakistan and all the economic and political power being in the west side. And as a result from this essay and all of the data, I would have to come to the judgment that Bangladesh are far more developed and this will be made extremely obvious in the future years to come when they start to overtake and Pakistan drops behind.

And on top West Pakistanis ruled and exploited Eastv Pakistanis by force. East Pakistani by number of persons (population) were bigger than combined 4 states of West Pakistan.
