To ask philosophical questionsBecause if humans weren't around, there would be no one to ask What is the meaning of life? Answer

There are human's on Earth because of a semantic identification of ourselves as humans and this planet as Earth. Silicon based fluorine breathers on a planet circling Sirius could ask a very similar question about themselves. The answers for both questioners would be the same: We evolved here, we are suited for the conditions here (not the other way around)

We serve no higher purpose than to exist.

AnswerBecause Earth is the only planet on our solar system where the temperature differences between hot and cold is the lowest; therefore life evolves. It was made for us!Isaiah 45 v 18 "For thus says the Lord, the one who created the heavens God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it he created it not in vain he formed it to be inhabited:I am the Lord and there is none else.

Apart from indicating that the earth was formed to be inhabited The Bible also tells us that humans were given the job of caring for and controlling the earth and its creatures and environment. This is part of what some call the 'dominion mandate' found in Genesis 1 v 28 (see also Psalm 8:6)

In connection with the above we note the following environment on the planet earth.

1. Water mostly in liquid form and in the right proportion for optimum climate.

2. Atmosphere of Oxygen and Nitrogen in the right proportions.

3. Renewing Cycles for both water and oxygen/nitrogen. This is interesting to say the least as both of these relate to life. Earth resources not related directly to life are non-renewable.

4. Exactly right distance from Sun.

5. Stable sun compared to others. Life would be 'fried' by massive solar flares.

6. Axis tilt to give seasons.

7. Space exploration has demonstrated how incredibly inhospitable everywhere else in our solay system really is. The first four conditions are not found anywhere else.

Is this all sheer coincidence? Or could Isaiah 45 v 18 be true?

AnswerThe Bible says that just as this generation of humans does not remember the generation before us, so we will not be remembered by the generation after us.

I think that by 'generation' it means that there was some kind of species of humans here before us that were totally wiped out. It also says that our generation of humans will be completely wiped out as well. The word generation means an entire set of humans covering tens of thousands of years.

But then again maybe I am wrong in my interpretation, it is just a guess.

From all observations, there is no reason. However many religions have tried (and some still are trying) to justify our existence with varying results.

Answer:

the universe is strange. how could something possibly come from nothing? in my opinion God made the universe then scientist's theories come in to the equation... i.e. gases turning into planets and what not. on the other hand, from a religious point of view, how did God come into existence? I'm not sure i should be questioning the almighty. i suppose this sort of stuff should best be left alone, we as humans will never know fully how the universe was created or how it works.

To worship him in spirit and in truth.

AnswerWhy not?
Good question and arguably the most asked; What is the meaning and purpose of life. First: People are here to be proven whether they will choose good or evil. That is why mankind have a God given, and universal right to be free to choose; it's called free agency. Second: To obtain a body of flesh and blood; Third: to gain experience. We shouted for joy at the chance of coming here. Job 38:7 lyrically expresses this profound truth.>

Humans evolved on Earth over millions of years from simpler life forms. Our species eventually emerged in Africa and migrated to different parts of the world. Humans did not "land" on Earth as if from somewhere else, but rather developed and adapted to the conditions on our planet.

Religious viewpoint: we exist because God created us. This world is a purposeful creation by God, in which all people are tested concerning their use of free-will. We possess a soul which lives on after the body dies and is held responsible for the person's actions. Anyone who is worthy can merit reward in the afterlife. See also:

Humans are alive because of bacteria.

Billions of years ago, the Earth was nothing but a lifeless rock completely covered in super volcanoes. Over time the steam from the volcanoes formed our atmosphere, which prevented any further steam and gasses escaping into space. Therefore the steam fell as rain, which over a course of thousands of years, formed oceans.

Eventually, bacteria began to spring to life, since water equals life. It is possible that this bacteria was not formed on Earth, but instead came from outer space, because scientists have proved that meteorites that crash into Earth do hold small traces of bacteria. However most believe that the bacteria was created on Earth itself.

Over a course of millions of years, this bacteria evolved into jelly-like creatures, which formed into small fish, then into large fish. The large fish then developed legs and walked on land like crocodiles. These crocodile-like reptiles then evolved into dinosaurs.

Over billions of years, new life sprung up all over the place, either through evolution or cross-mutations between existing species. 65 million years ago the dinosaurs became victim to what is known as a mass extinction (we still do not know what caused it). However some smaller creatures, underground creatures and ocean creatures survived.

These survivors evolved into birds, marsupials and rodents. And, again over a course of millions of years, through evolution and cross-breeding, these tiny creatures grew bigger, some into monkeys.
Again, over millions of years, some groups of monkeys evolved into apes and these apes eventually evolved into humans.

So there you have it. That's why humans exist.

Many religious scholars who have been supporting creationism, in light of recent evidence (and lack of it on the religious side), are leaning towards believing in evolution. Just because you have a faith, it doesn't mean you cannot believe in evolution. Things change. Many modern-day scientists who believe in evolution are also devout Christians, Catholics, Jews or whatever their faith may be. The point is, you can still worship your religion and believe in the hard, cold, proven facts of evolution.

Because this is where God created them. He made the Earth just right for humans to surviv and thrive, even after Adam and Eve were banished from heaven. This is why humans need special equipment to survive on other planets, moons, etc. The Earth was made for Humans and Humans were made for the Earth.

Everyone has their own reason, religion, science etc. my answer to the meaning of life is just to live. To form bonds and memories with loved ones, and learn from your mistakes. Then finally pass those down to your children and anyone who needs it.

The planet for life (that is, the rotation of carbon) needs continuous liquid water. So the distance to the main star must be very accurate. And the distance from the main star to the center of the galaxy must also be very accurate.

The planet needs a temporary winter cold for a big brain. So, we have 3 strict conditions for the birth of civilization in the Universe

Can anyone name something that is completely useless to humans and prove that the Earth was not 'created' for humans?

One example of something useless to humans is the vast stretches of uninhabitable land on Earth, such as deserts, frozen tundras, and deep ocean trenches. These areas do not support human life, which challenges the idea that the Earth was exclusively created for humans since a significant portion of the planet is inhospitable to us.

What percentage of earth history has humans existed?

Humans have existed for only about 0.2% of Earth's history, which is approximately 200,000 years out of Earth's 4.5 billion-year history. This indicates that humans are a relatively recent addition to the planet.

Were superior beings on earth before humans?

There is no scientific evidence or consensus to support the existence of superior beings on Earth before humans. The evolution of complex life on Earth, including humans, can be traced back over billions of years through a gradual process of natural selection. While there are many undiscovered species and extinct organisms, there is currently no evidence to suggest the presence of superior beings preceding humans.

How many lands inhabited by humans on the earth?

There are over 195 countries on Earth where humans inhabit. Each country can have multiple cities and regions where humans live. The total number of inhabited lands would depend on how you define and categorize these regions.
