mohandas karamkand gandhi mostly known as mahatma gandhi

Not at all. There was no blood relation. There is no direct relationship. Indira Gandhi ( the daughter of muslin ) not daughter of Jawaharlal was married to Feroze ( Khan ) Gandhi, no relation to Mohandas (Mahatma) Gandhi.Indira took the name of Gandhi when she married Feroze ( Khan ) Gandhi, who was not related to Mahatma Gandhi either (although Wikipedia claims Mahatma Gandhi adopted Feroze ( Khan ) only court afffidavite changed the name so he could marry Indira, but another source says he was persuaded--not adopted--by Mahatma to change his surname). However, Indira was the daughter of another prominent political leader of 20th century India, Jawaharlal Nehru (1889-1964), the first prime minister of India and a protege of Mohandas GandhiMahatma Gandhi or Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Indira Gandhi or not directly related. This is a politically coerced relation. Indira Gandhi married Feroze Khan, a Muslim. Politically this was a disaster because the Congress Party through which Mrs Gandhi ran for Prime Minister would loose all Non Moslem Votes. So under political pressure Mr Khan was forced to change his name to Gandhi. This would help FOOL the local population that the then Prime Ministerial Candidate Mrs Gandhi was related to Mahatma Gandhi. In fact there is ABSOLUTELY no relation with the Gandhi Surname and Mrs Indira Gandhi. Indira's maiden name was Nehru and her married surname was Khan. So if she choose to keep her maiden name , she'd have sounded like Indira Nehru . The word Gandhi came out of nowhere . So the summarize , the reasons are :-- Political Coercion .-- Misrepresentation to create a false association with Mohandas Gandhi and garner votes using his surnameEven today , the political campaign billboards feature Sonia Gandhi ( aka Maino ) , Rahul Gandhi ( aka Raul Maino ) and Mohandas Gandhi ( aka Mahatma Gandhi ) together .No they were not related but Mohandas Gandhi Adopted Fer oz Khan . Who turned to Fer oz Gandhi only because Indira was a Hindu who could not marry a Muslim and Jawarlal Nehru din not want to be disgraced in front of the government because he was a true Hindu therefore Mohandas adopted him and got the two (Fer oz And Indira) married. so Jawarlal `s image wasn't ruined in front of the government.so in the end they were related.
The second stanza in the poem "Mahatma Gandhi" by Amado V. Hernandez likely continues to highlight Gandhi's role as a peaceful revolutionary and advocate for social change. It may describe his nonviolent resistance to injustice and his commitment to truth and righteousness. The stanza could further emphasize his influence on others and his enduring legacy as a symbol of inspiration and hope.
After completion of his primary education at his native village, he studied at the D.A.V. High School and the D.A.V. College at Lahore. The Non-Corporation movement started by Mahatma Gandhi inspired Bhagat Singh to join National College, Lahore started by LalaLajpatRai and BhaiParmanand. This was the time when Bhagat Singh came in contact with his future associates like Sukhdev,Yash Pal,Jai dev. Etc. He evinced great interest in his studies. A voracious reader, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to the study of history, politics and economics. His special interest was the history of revolutions in various countries of the world. In college, he became the leader of the student community and founded the college students' union. During in college Bhagat Singh took active part in the non-corporation movements as "Swaraj" was promised by Mahatma Gandhi In a one years time. In 1922, the Congress organized a procession in the town of Chaurachauri in Gorakhpur District where a few non cooperators were killed by the police. In protest of this a mob locked up twenty-two policemen together in a house, set fire to the house and burnt them. Mahatma Gandhi felt very sad at all this. He asked the people to end the non- cooperation movement which was then going on in the country. The sudden end of the non-corporation movement came as a sudden blow and a huge disappointment to Bhagat Singh and the youth. Should an important movement be given up, because 22 policemen died in the struggle to attain freedom? Before that, a nineteen-year-old revolutionary by the name Kartar SinghSarabha who was Bhagat Singh's idol had been hanged by the British Government. Then none of these supporters of nonviolence raised any objection. How could non-violence become so important now? Such thoughts weakened Bhagat Singh's faith in non - violence and non-cooperation movements. At the age of 16, Bhagat Singh left home to go to Kanpur due to his family's pressure on him to get married.
Mahatma Gandhi was well known as a peaceful person because he pioneered the idea of peaceful resistance. He had many demonstrations that only involved sitting calmly in public places to demonstrate that revolutionary changes could be achieved through non violence. It demonstrated the peaceful resistor's moral superiority against the often violent ruling British class.
After many protests, campaigns, and struggles, Mahatma Gandhi was finally able to realize a free India in August 1947. There was bitter bloodshed between the Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs but if not for his work things could have been much worse.
There is no official "second Gandhi." However, if you are referring to someone who follows in the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi as a leader and advocate for nonviolent resistance and social justice, there are several individuals who could be seen as carrying on his legacy, such as Martin Luther King Jr. in the United States or Nelson Mandela in South Africa.
It is my view that Mahatma Gandhi is Hindu political and spritual leader in Indian movement of independence. The reasons are: 1. He wrote a lot many books on platform of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita and others. 2. He also conveyed message of "Vaishnava Jan to ene kahiye je, pir parai jaane re". This message is self explanatory of Hindu Culture. 3. Last and the formost thing is only a spritually high level man could have lead India to independence with great courage and leadership. And he was......MAHATMA.
He won the independence because he embarrassed and show how bad the British are. -Sean H. Gandhi used the media to embarrass and frustrate the british. He used it to let the world know what was going on in India and how they could help by increasing the British embarrassment.
Jawahar Lal Nehru. Nehru was a very shrewed politician. With his personal background, he could not fit into Indian politics. He needed a person to protect his image and for that he chose Mohan Das Gandhi. It was a political compromise after Gandhi returned from South Africa after his failures and acquired a naked fakir image. Gandhi became his protector and due to his saintly attitude always helped Nehru whether he was right or wrong . So when an opportunity came in one of the initial meetings of the Constitutional assembly of India he put these words 'father of the nation' in one of his resolutions and the word got acceptance. This way he returned the Bapu's Blessings and paid back the favors he had been receiving for his personal political goals.
· Mahatma Gandhi argued that colonial education created a sense of inferiority in the minds of Indians. It made them see Western civilization as superior, and destroyed the pride they had in their own culture. · There was poison in this education, said Mahatma Gandhi, it was sinful, it enslaved. Indians, it cast an evil spell on them. · Mahatma Gandhi wanted an education that could help Indians recover their sense of dignity and self - respect. · During the national movement he urged students to leave educational institutions in order to show the British that Indians were no longer willing to be enslaved. · Education in English crippled Indians, distanced them from their own social surroundings, and made them "strangers in their own lands". Speaking a foreign tongue, despising local culture, the English educated did not know how to relate to the masses. · Western education, Mahatma Gandhi said, focused on reading and writing rather than oral knowledge; it valued textbooks rather than lived experience and practical knowledge. He argued that education ought to develop a person's mind and soul
