People justified slavery using various arguments such as belief in the racial superiority of certain groups, economic benefits derived from free labor, and religious or moral justifications that portrayed slaves as inferior beings. These justifications often involved dehumanizing enslaved individuals and viewing them as property rather than as fellow human beings.

People didn't want to end slavery because they didn't like certain jobs and slavery took care of that. In other words, people were to lazy to do their jobs and slavery let them be lazy. I hope it helped=D

Slavery was very hard and people were tortured! They tried to escape to places like Canada. They did not have rights and they were owned.

People did speak against slavery they were called abolitionists. These were people like Oladah Equiano and Frederick Douglas. These people wrote books describing the awfulness of slavery. I also suggest you read Harriet Teacher Stowe's book Uncle Tom's Cabin. This was a direct look into the horror of slavery.
By leading so many people out of slavery and no one got caught!!
