Those who did oppose the the war said that that particular war was irreconcilable with fundamental socialist convictions about the 'brotherhood of mankind'. This view was shared in some European countries by a very small number of Liberals. On the whole those socialists who opposed WWI found themselves pushed further and further to the Left and formed the basis of future Communist parties.
Please note that in the U.S., where socialism has always been very weak, the situation may have been different.

I'm puzzled by the question. German women did not 'oppose World War 1'.

World War 1
In 1914 most Social Democrats in Germany supported World War 1. A small group was, however, opposed. In 1916 some of these socialists formed the Spartacus League, which in December 1918 became the Communist Party of Germany.

There was no 'Jewish' opposition to World War 1. On the contrary, Jews fought bravely in the armies of the various countries that they belonged to.

The violent conflict between nations, or groups of nations, is antithetical to the struggle between economic classes. Workers do not benefit from territorial disputes between France and Germany, they should be directing their efforts toward getting better wages and working conditions.
I think it is because Quakers fight with peace, not violence. They try to make it peaceful I think.
