Why did the Boston Tea Party happened?

The Boston Tea Party happened because the British were not being fair and giving the colonies taxes that were too high (called taxation without representation). So the Colonists rebelled and dumped the tea from the tea ships into the British Harbor. Therefore the Boston Tea Party happened.

The main reason for the Boston Tea Party was in response to the Tea Act of 1773.

The Boston Tea Party happened because the British Parliament needed money to pay for the war. They also needed money to pay the troops that were protecting Boston and all of the other colonies. The Boston Tea Party on December 16, 1773 took place when a group of Massachusetts traitors, protesting the trust on English tea accesses, recently granted by Parliament to the East India Company, took 342 chests of tea in a midnight raid on three tea ships and threw them out into the Boston Harbor.
