The answer before this was completely wrong! At the time Russia was going through two different civil wars in the nation! It was having way to many internal conflicts to be fighting a war with a country. In 1917 Russia made a treaty called Brest Litovsk in which a lot of land was lost!

The treaty between Hitler and Russia, the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, was perfectly logical for both nations, since it would have allowed them to carve up Europe between them (Germany getting Western Europe and Russia getting eastern Europe) without having to fight with each other. If Hitler had complied with the terms of this treaty, rather than betraying Russia, he would then have had the military resources needed to defeat England and to win the war. But he was overconfident.

Who did Germany invade in spite of the peace treaty?

Depending on what you mean, I'm guessing that it's Poland that they invaded first, or otherwise it's one of the countries that Germany had lost because of the Versailles Treaty, that they demanded to have returned or would start war. This could also be Russia. Please be more specific.

What did the big three want to do t Germany at the Treaty of Versailles?

France wanted Germany to suffer badly as revenge for France's losses. Britain wanted the Treaty to be harsh, but not too harsh that it made Germany too weak to stop a possible communism spread from Russia to Western Europe. (N.B. This was Lloyd George's fear; the public just wanted Germany to suffer.) America felt it should stay out as much as possible of future European affairs, and only wanted to make peace with Germany and restrict her so she wouldn't start another war. Why is it important for a peace agreement such as treaty of Versailles to be regarded as fair by all sides?

Because if one side doesn't think the treaty's fair they may start another war. The perfect example is the Versailles Treaty. Germany didn;t like it and the disatifaction added to the appeal of Hitler's offer to take over Europe.
