cause we were giving stuff like food and weapons to this one country and Germany didnt like it and we thought we were sneaky and we thought germany if they found out they just wouldve thought it was food or something but germany knew it was weapons so they bobbed our ship and theyre were civilians on it and that was one of the rules against war you cannot kill civilians and hitler did anyway so the us said lets go to war
