Petroleum engineering is a wanted job all around the world, especially in the Middle East and it would be recommended if you speak Arabic. To be a petroleum engineer isn't an easy job you're required to take chemistry, all math, physics, geology... Act. Therefore, if you are determined for this you can do it but you have to work hard.

I choose engineering, as in secondary school I studied chemistry, maths, applied maths and physics. So as you can tell by my subject chooses that I really enjoyed problem solving and mathematics. After advice form my career guidance councillor He suggested that I look in to engineering as a future, practically Chemical engineering since I was quite found of chemistry. So I researched the different engineering types by looking at the brochures and attending different careers fairs, the more I learned about the Chemical engineering in particular the more interested I was in the course as it had broad range of career opportunities available to it and the course content appealed to me.
