Us was not a part of Europe more over weapons and other aids were still supplied by the us to the allies althogh it was a neutral country although in 1916s some of it ships were sunk by some German submarines so us entered in the war

Both wars America didnt want anything to do with. at first. it cost to much money to go to war plus they had previously sworn they wouldn't get cought up in European affairs. so they were trying to stay out of both wars. one war they joined in on because German u boats were bombing their ships for no reason killing many innocent Americans. the other war they joined because the japenese bombed pearl harbor. but in the beginning, American reactions to the wars were neutral because thay didnt want to get involved.

At the beginning of WW II the US hoped not to get involved. It was only after the US was bombed by Japan, at Pearl Harbor, that the US found that it could not avoid gettting involved.
