Meth does not only have short-term physical affects, but long-term effects on the brain. They can cause mental illness in its many forms, schizophrenia, rage disorders, etc..
It is possible, therefore, that an increase in migraines may be caused by those affects. Because migraine is a disease of the brain - caused by the spreading cortical depression that covers the brain, a loss of serotonin, and an increase in dopamine.
Amphetamine use actually destroys serotonin receptors.
It is also possible that the physical effects are still present - such as vitamin deficiencies. Migraine can be acutely affected by a deficiency of magnesium and vitamin B2.
You need to be diagnosed by a neurologist, and find one you can be honest with about your meth use. SSRIs may be your best bet for stabilizing your brain.
Federal mandatory minimums are set in grams, not ounces. You have 60 grams of meth. For 10g meth you get five years. For 100g you get 10 years. These are MINIMUM sentences--if the judge wants to give you 10 years for your 60g of meth, he can.
No. Japan has problems with meth use as well. Other countries have problems with meth use. Meth use has only became a rural problem rather recently.
Yes What do you define as heavy use? The majority of studies done have involved users who use(d) at least a gram a day for at least two years. The jury is still out on whether the damage done by meth is permanent but it can be long lasting.... Do you notice problems with concentration, focus what about your ability to organise? Meth primarily affects your executive functioning. I suggest googling meth ^ brain damage and doing some reading.
Yes, using meth is harmful.
Meth
The government is constantly regulating and even banning ingredients people use to make Meth out of. In recent years, the banning of Ephedra, in addition the heavy regulation of over-the-counter psuedoefedrine.
Yes two weeks ago left eye was good, now about 5% vision
easiest way to put it is if a meth user is tweeking he/she is high on meth. tweeking is the slang for high on meth. its like how when u smoke pot u get "stoned". use meth and you get "tweeked" or "twacked"
I have been a meth user off and on for many years. I have never had a dentist ask me if I had ever used drugs before until I went to the dentist last week. I don't have "meth mouth" but I do have problems with my teeth. I said, yes a long time ago. Then the dentist asked if the drug was meth? I said yes, but wouldn't admit to any recent use. I went in thinking I was going to get a root canal and ended up having 2 bottom teeth pulled and now being sent to a oral surgeon to have a back tooth removed. I was very upset even though I should have expected it. But I don't have the typical "meth mouth" BUT she was the first dentist to ask me. Maybe they all knew but just didn't say anything. Now I have to go and get a bridge to replace those teeth.
Simple, never use or go near crystal meth.
Depends on the amount used and frequency of use. It also depends on the effects of meth. If someone smoked meth and did not take care of their oral hygiene, the damage to their teeth is not reversible. Any brain damage that occurred due to excessive meth use is likely to be repaired, but it is not certain whether this would be completely reverisble or not (it would likely depend on the amount + frequency of use). Weight loss and skin problems will likely gradually improve once meth use is ceased. Resultant psychological issues will likely get better the longer that the person is abstinent from meth use.
Your teeth will fall out, and your life will suck. You will, however, have a daily activity that you can do until you die, which will be soon, if you've already been smoking meth for ten years.
